About Me

Larissa Kurucz is an acrylic and oil painter, muralist, and art director whose practice explores embodiment, symbolism, and contemporary constructions of femininity through a surreal and visionary framework. She holds a BFA with a specialization in Art Curation, Administration, and Education, grounding her work in artistic research, creative direction, and immersive design.

Alongside her studio practice, Kurucz works across large-scale cultural contexts as a creative director and organizer, developing immersive environments, visual programming, and participatory experiences through installations, performances, workshops, and artist-led community initiatives. This interdisciplinary approach positions her work at the intersection of fine art and experiential design, emphasizing art as both a visual and social practice.

Her visual language draws from mythological archetypes, sacred geometry, and symbolic forms—particularly goddesses and bees—as metaphors for interconnection, abundance, sovereignty, and transformation.

Her current series, Wild Women, investigates the divine feminine as shaped by sociopolitical conditions, engaging feminist discourse to examine identity, power, and the reclamation of embodied voice within a broader cultural continuum.
